Who we are

This website is run by GetHandyman, a handyman service in Cardiff, South Wales. For anything about your personal information, email info@gethandyman.co.uk or call 07865 657345.

What we collect

When you use the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), postcode, the type of job and your message. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we keep the details you send us.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange and carry out the work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is stored in the customer system we share with our sister business, SolidBuilders, so either business can reply. If your job needs a registered electrician or another specialist, we share only what they need to do the job. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Records of work we carry out are kept for up to 6 years for accounting and guarantee purposes.

Cookies

This site sets one essential cookie when you use the quote form. It keeps the form secure and is deleted when you close your browser. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
